Hi all,
thought I’d share the below post as it highlights the easiest way for an author to get him or herself blacklisted by agents in this age of the internet.
So unprofessional and very insulting to the agents in question.
It’s worth reading.

Is this for real?! Surely it’s an elaborate hoax and no-one would be that crazy!

There are a lot of crazy people in the world, Lou. And whether the writer in question wanted it or not, he has generated a lot of buzz online due to his post.

Totally unbelievable!
As Lou asked, is this posting by him real? David Benjamin’s tirade has all the makings of a sad, sad and sick joke.
A brilliant example of how NOT to go about it.
The poor agent!
Until and unless you learn manners and basic decency we cannot and will not help you, sir!
Perhaps that is the only lesson.
Thanks for sharing, Rebecca!

You’re welcome, Daniel! Yes, like yourself, I also found his comments hard to believe. Rejection of your work may hurt, but it cannot excuse personal attacks.

It’s sooooo unprofessional, isn’t it?
I actually cringed when I read it the first time.

I laughed hysterically the first time because I thought it was a fake post making fun of how authors all think they’re unappreciated geniuses. But then I read a few of his other entries and realised it was no joke. He put their pictures up!!! I was horrified once it dawned on me it was no mockblog
